Medicaid (MassHealth) Estate Recovery Recent Updates

Did you know that Medicaid (MassHealth) is entitled to reimbursement from your probate estate after your death if you received benefits to cover your long-term health care expenses in a skilled nursing facility during your lifetime? Medicaid recently updated the regulations regarding estate recovery, which attorneys from the Massachusetts chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (MassNAELA) discuss in this short video.
